Social media site Twitter and many of its users seem to have become deluded into thinking that tweeting about events in Iran can actually make one iota of difference. All you silly fucks who changed your avatars to green are really part of the problem! It is pure Hegelian dialectics at work or the problem > reaction > solution paradigm which is played out time and time again while innocent people die.
Twitter users where were you when an Iranian teenager (below) was shot in the heart and died on camera during the election protests in Tehran? My guess is that you were probably watching TV or sleeping in your comfortable beds without the slightest care in the world. Wake the fuck up!
